1 min read

Mysuru: The amount of money that was being spent on checking terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir has been cut down after the cancellation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.

Deputy Chief Minister Dr M N Ashwathnarayan has said on September 20, ” The efforts of bringing unity in the valley is being made and Ladakh has been made an Union Territory to find a solution to the problem that had created a hindrance in the valley. It was in accordance with the resolve of the party to build Ram Mandir, abrogate Article 370 and bring in Citizenship Bill”.

When the temporary status was granted to Jammu and Kashmir even Rammanohar Lohia had opposed it. Though a part of India, confusion remained in administration of the government. As many as 42,000 lives had been lost and it was becoming difficult to achieve the intended progress. The conflict between government and people had become common”, said Ashwathnarayan in support  of the decision to cancel Article 370.
