Abhiyenthararu! Rashtriya Ranga Utsava from February 26 to March 2

Mysuru: Abhiyenthararu, a theatre troupe that was established in the year 1993, has been conducting cultural and theatre related activities since then.
As many as 24 plays have been produced and staged across the State, and is a matter of pride that, the troupe founded by engineers for the cause of engineers, making it one of its kind theatre troupe in the State. It is working towards attracting the youths of the land, who in the lure of technology, are showing reluctance towards the Kannada culture and land.
As part of its 32nd anniversary celebrations, Abhiyenthararu has organised Rashtriya Ranga Utsava, from February 26 to March 2 at Kiru Rangamandira, Kalamandira premises in the city, in association with Kannada and Culture Department.
The theatre troupes from Bengaluru, Mangaluru and Mumbai, will be staging Kannada, English and Hindi language plays.
Former Rajya Sabha MP L Hanumanthaiah will inaugurate Rashtriya Ranga Utsava on February 26 at 6.30 pm at Kiru Rangamandira. Joint Director of Kannada and Culture Department V N Mallikarjun Swamy and Assistant Director Dr M D Sudarshan will be the chief guests. Former Chairman of Karnataka Nataka Academy Srinivas G Kappanna, will preside.
