Minister clarifies all’s well between MCC Commissioner and Mayor

Mysuru: In an apparent move to brush aside complaints of lack of communication between MCC Commissioner and Mayor, District In-charge Minister ST Somashekhar said that all are working 8n unity to fight the Covid-19 pandemic.
MCC Commissioner Gurudatta Hegde and Mayor Tasneem allegedly had differences of opinion on implementing measures to check the spread of Covid-19.
Speaking to the media, minister S T Somashekhar said that there were a few complaints of lack of communication between the two on management of Covid-19. However, everything is sorted out now, the minister said.
He further said that he will talk to Urban Development Minister Bhyrathi Basavaraj and will again hold a meeting on May 7 to resolve some pending issues in MCC.
