Coronavirus! Mayor appeals to donors to help needy people

Mysuru: Mayor Tasneem appealed to the philanthropic minded people to donate essential needs to be distributed among the needy.
Mayor told media persons on Wednesday, “the people can generously donate rice, dal and other essential materials that will be supplied to poor, labourers and economically weaker families. It will helping restricting people to their houses”.
Mayor said ” when I went on an awareness drive along with Deputy Mayor Ramesh recently in an open jeep, it came to light that poor and daily wagers deprived of jobs are facing scarcity of food. However, the generous minded people are distributing food to such people. MCC is also providing food at Santhwana Kendra and Indira Canteens”.
“As a measure to check the spread of Coronavirus, spraying machine has been provided to each of the 65 wards in the city. Jetting machine is given to each of the three Assembly constituencies in the city”, said mayor.
