Mandya: Mysore Silk the indigenous saree in diffferent varieties are available under one roof in the town.
The exhibition cum sale of the saree organised by Karnataka Silk Industries Corporation ( KSIC) was inaugurated at Munshi Premchand Auditorium in Hindi Bhavan in the town on January 3. The exhibition will be open till January 6.
The sarees are available in the range of Rs 4,000 to Rs 1.5 lakh. A discount of 25 % is offered on sarees. The silk shirts are also available in the range of Rs 2,000 to Rs 4,000.
Deputy Commissioner Dr M V Venkatesh who inaugurated the exhibition said “It’s a matter of pride that quality sarees are manufactured using pure silk produced in the State. The exhibition is organised to enable people buy sarees at affordable rates”.
KSIC Manager Bhanuprakash, Jagadish and other officers were present.
