Mega Digital Life Certificate camp for railway pensioners held

Mysuru: South Western Railway (SWR), Mysuru Division, successfully organised a Mega Digital Life Certificate (DLC) Camp as part of the nationwide Digital Life Certificate Campaign 4.0.
The programme was held in coordination with the Personnel and Accounts Departments with the objective of assisting pensioners and family pensioners in submitting their annual Digital Life Certificates through the latest face authentication technology, while also creating awareness about the Jeevan Pramaan digital platform.
The initiative aimed at providing enhanced convenience, ensuring ease of living, and offering a completely hassle-free experience for all pensioners. The camp received an overwhelming response, with active participation from officials of various banks. Around 350 pensioners, including family pensioners, availed the services during the camp.
The programme was graced by the presence of Mudit Mittal, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Mysuru Division Chief Guest, Shammas Hameed, Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Guest of Honour, Vishnu Gouda, Senior Divisional Personnel Officer and Parthasarathy, President, Railway Pensioners’ Welfare Association, Mysuru, G Swaminathan Secretary Pensioners Association, Mysuru.
Senior Railway officers and senior officials from multiple banks were also present, extending their full support in guiding pensioners through the digital certification process.
As part of the event, the Divisional Railway Manager felicitated pensioners above 80 years of age, honouring their presence and acknowledging their valuable contribution to the Indian Railways.
The camp not only facilitated smooth DLC submissions for more than 350 pensioners but also offered UMID enrolment and grievance redressal services, making it a comprehensive support platform dedicated to the welfare of pensioners.
