‘Post Covid-19, rise in mental health issues a cause for concern’

Mysuru: World Health Day was celebrated at JSS Hostel for Visually Impaired Women and Girls, Ramanuja road in the city.

City JDS Working President Prakash Priyadarshan, distributed fruits and grocery to the inmates of the hostel and created awareness about health among them.
Speaking on the occasion, President of KVK Foundation Kushi Vinu said, after Covid-19 pandemic, there is an increase in mental health related issues among the people. The mental stress is leading to anxiety and other ailments, with the gradual decline in patience and calmness among the public. It is common to see people getting angry for no reasons. If we fail to maintain mental balance, it will take a serious toll on our health conditions.
