Mysuru City Corporation hikes property tax by 3 percent

Mysuru: Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) hiked the property tax by minimum 3 to 5 percent, that will come into effect from April 1, 2025.
The enhancement of property tax for the properties in MCC jurisdiction, was made after obtaining the approval of the Administrator, states a notification issued by MCC Commissioner.
The changes made in property tax slabs, will reflect in the property tax calculator, that will be incorporated by March.
However, the public can make use of the opportunity of 5 percent rebate on the payment of property tax in April.
