Socialist Ram Manohar Lohia commemorative programme on March 23 in city

Mysuru: The Socialist Study Center Trust is set to host ‘Remembering Ram Manohar Lohia’ on Sunday at 11 am at the Indian Educational Theatre Institute, Hardwicke School premises, JLB Road in the city.
The event will feature discussions by prominent personalities, including M N Sumana, Senior Advocate and Trustee, Shaktidhama and Samata Study Center, Mysuru Kucchangi Prasanna, Editor, Bevara Hani Regional Daily, Tumakuru and B Mahesh Harave, Cultural Thinker and Writer.
Dr Ram Manohar Lohia (1910–1967) was a socialist thinker, freedom fighter and advocate for social equality, farmers’ rights, and political transparency. His ideas have had a lasting impact on Kannada literature, politics and movements supporting Dalits and farmers.
