Flyover at Manipal Hospital junction approved to ease traffic flow: MP Yaduveer Wadiyar

Mysuru: Mysuru-Kodagu MP Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar announced significant development works for the Bengaluru-Mysuru section of National Highway 275.
The Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Nitin Gadkari, has approved proposals aimed at enhancing road user safety and connectivity in the region.
The approved works include:
1. Junction Development: A flyover will be constructed at the Manipal Hospital junction to streamline traffic flow between Mysuru Ring Road and the Bengaluru-Mysuru Highway.
2. Traffic Regulation Enhancements: Toll booths with standardised entry and exit provisions will be installed, alongside the construction of service roads and road-over-bridges (ROBs) to boost local mobility and improve connectivity.
Expressing gratitude, MP Yaduveer thanked Nitin Gadkari for his swift approval and the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for prioritising infrastructure development.
“This milestone highlights the power of collaborative governance and reflects our commitment to the progress, safety, and connectivity of Mysuru-Kodagu,” he said.
The MP urged continued public support to make Mysuru-Kodagu, a model for development and prosperity.
