Lokayukta cops question CM Siddaramaiah for two hours

Mysuru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah was questioned by Mysore Lokayukta Police officials for about two hours on Wednesday, over his role in the alleged site allotment scam at Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA).

Siddaramaiah, designated as Accused No. 1 in the case, was interrogated by Lokayukta Mysuru SP T J Udesh, the Investigation Officer (IO), following a complaint by RTI Activist Snehamayi Krishna of the city.

The Chief Minister arrived for the hearing at 10.10 am and concluded the inquiry, departing the Lokayukta office at 12:10 pm.

This marks for the first time in the State’s history that, a sitting Chief Minister had been summoned for an inquiry at the Lokayukta office.
