Mysuru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah appeared at the Mysuru Lokayukta office on Wednesday for questioning in connection with the MUDA (Mysuru Urban Development Authority) site allotment case, which concerns the allotment of 14 sites under the 50:50 scheme to his wife Parvathi.
Siddaramaiah arrived in a private vehicle.
The Lokayukta has prepared a set of 20 questions, as Siddaramaiah is listed as the prime accused (A1) in the case.
Key questions included:
Did Parvathi Siddaramaiah, the Chief Minister’s wife, receive the sites under recommendation, and if so, was there any misuse of power?
Was Siddaramaiah aware that his wife obtained sites at Vijayanagar? Did he have any direct contact with the MUDA Commissioner during the allotment process, and is there any truth to allegations that his son, Dr Yathindra Siddaramaiah, attended meetings about the site allotment? What is the explanation behind the details he showed in a press conference, with questions about potential financial gain and allegations of demanding Rs 65 crore for the sites?
The questioning addressed these points as part of the ongoing investigation.
