Lokayukta Police summon CM Siddaramaiah for inquiry

Mysuru: The Lokayukta Police of Mysuru divison investigating the alleged site allotment scam under 50:50 scheme at Mysuru Urban Development Authority’s (MUDA), have issued a notice summoning Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for questioning on November 6 at 10.30 am.
The Lokayukta Police took up the case after the Karnataka High Court upheld the Governor’s decision to proceed with the prosecution of CM Siddaramaiah.
As part of the investigation, Lokayukta officials have already questioned three other accused including the Chief Minister’s wife, Parvathi Siddaramaiah, on October 25 at the Lokayukta office. The other two accused are- Siddaramaiah’s brother-in-law M B Mallikarjun Swamy and landowner J Devaraju.
Lokayukta Superintendent of Police T J Udesh, the Investigating Officer has issued the summons, formally asking Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to appear for inquiry at Lokayukta office in the city.
