POCSO case against Yediyurappa: HC postpones matter to September 5

Bengaluru: High Court deferred the hearing over the plea of former Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa to quash the case filed against him under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) to September 5.
The single judge bench of Justice M Nagaprasanna issued the order, besides extending the stay on any action of arresting Yediyurappa in the case.
Meanwhile noted criminal lawyer S V Nagesh, who is arguing for Yediyurappa, has said he is ready for argument, in the wake of demand for political leaders, especially of Congress to arrest Yediyurappa in the case.
Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has filed a 750-page charge sheet in the case in June.
