NCC cadets take up plogging expedition to Chamundi Hill

Mysuru: NCC cadets from 3 Kar Naval Unit, Mysuru embarked on a transformative plogging expedition to Chamundi Hill, removing plastic waste and preserving its cultural heritage and biodiversity.
A total of 41 cadets collected approximately 20 bags of plastic waste. The drive was launched from the foot of Chamundi Hill and concluded near the Goddess Chamundeshwari Temple atop the hill. The cadets collected plastic waste strewn along the steps.
Lt Cdr Vinay R, Commanding Officer, 3 Karnataka Naval Unit NCC along with PI Staffs and GCI accompanied the cadets.
Such actions inspire community engagement and environmental stewardship, leaving a lasting impact on both locals and the ecosystem.NCc
