Journalist Manohar Prasad Passes Away at 64

Mangaluru: Manohar Prasad, a multifaceted journalist passed away at the age of 64 on Friday.
A native of Karualu in Karkala taluk, Prasad pursued his college education in Mangaluru. He started his career in journalism with the esteemed ‘Nava Bharat’ newspaper.
Later, he joined Udayavani group, where he served as a reporter in Mangaluru. Over the years, he held positions such as chief correspondent, bureau chief and assistant editor till his retirement two years ago.
Acknowledged for his literary prowess, Manohar Prasad was honored with the prestigious Karnataka Rajyotsava Award.
