Retired Prof Dr Pramila Kunnur passes away

Mysuru: Dr Pramila B Kunnur, retired Professor and HoD, Journalism, Maharaja’s Degree College in Mysuru passed away due to cardiac arrest at her native Hubballi-Dharwad on Saturday. She was 63.
The last rites will be performed at Hubballi in the evening.
She is survived by her husband, a large number of relatives and friends.

Pramila Kunnur began her career as a lecturer in journalism at Karnatak University Dharwad (KUD) at 1990 where she served till 1994. She later joined Maharaja’s College, University of Mysore as a lecturer in 1994. She went on to serve at the Maharaja’s for 27 long years and held the credit of producing several students and guiding 10 research scholars for PhD.
