Daylong workshop on turning farmland into food forest on September 3

Mysuru: Ulume Foundation is organising a daylong workshop on natural farming and growing food forest at farmer Avinash T GS farm, ‘Banavasi Thota’, Huyilalu village in Mysuru on September 3.
The workshop will educate participants on maintaining PH level in soil, providing nutrients to plants, water conservation and also conservation of seeds. Besides, the workshop will also emphasise on how to turn agricultural lands into food forest by growing fruits, a variety of dry fruits, paddy, coconut and arecanut, sugar cane and such and also how to earn Rs 15,000 per acre every month.
