Mysuru: A guest lecturer who is being blackmailed and harassed by a loan app, has now approached the Cyber police seeking their help.

Complainant Chandragupta, working as a guest lecturer at Manasagangotri has reportedly sought Rs 3,000 loan through Super Loan App. After submitting all the required documents, Chandragupta was granted Rs 1,800 as loan on May 20 against his request for Rs 3,000. He was asked to pay the amount back within a week. Although, Chandragupta promptly returned back Rs 1,800, he was harassed to cough up Rs 3,000. Unable to bear, Chandragupta reportedly paid Rs 3,000 as demanded by the app in order to put an end to the trauma. But little did he know that this was actually the beginning of his trauma. For, even after paying Rs 3,000, miscreants allegedly hacked his account and allegedly created sleazy photos of him and threatened to send those photos to his friends and families.

Chandragupta has now approached Cyber police and lodged a complaint against miscreants blackmailing him. The police are investigating into it.
