Mysuru: AICC former President Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra entered Mysuru district at Nanjangud taluk on Saturday.

The first day of the Yatra in Karnataka which was launched from Gundlupet town on Friday, resumed from Tondavadi gate on the second day Saturday and headed towards Nanjangud.

Though it drizzled for sometime from pre-dawn hours, there was no major hurdle to the resumption of the Yatra.

Rahul Gandhi will stay overnight near Tandavapura, before marching towards Badanavalu village which has the imprints of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi who had visited the village known for Khadi Industries during freedom struggle, to celebrate Gandhi Jayanti on Sunday.

Rahul will also visit Sri Nanjundeshwara Temple in the temple town known as ‘Dakshina Kashi’, in the day.
