President Draupadi Murmu in Mysore Silk Saree adds uniqueness to Dasara

Mysuru: For those having a keen knowledge on the fabric, there will be an uniqueness of Mysore to be noticed in the President of India Draupadi Murmu, who inaugurated Mysuru Dasara at Chamundi Hill on Monday.
The President is wearing Mysore Silk saree gifted by a delegation of the district administration led by Cooperation and Mysuru district incharge Minister S T Somashekar while inviting the President in New Delhi.
According to the information accessed by Mysoorunews.com from KSIC “It’s a saree made of pure Mysore Silk and Gold lace. The colour is of silk and was weaved at the Silk Weaving Factory of KSIC, on Manandavadi road in the city”.
