Tamil actor Vishal wants to be a volunteer of Shaktidhama
1 min readMysuru: Actor and film producer Vishal visited Shakthidhama at the foothills of Chamundi on Mysuru -Nanjangud Road in the city on Saturday.
Vishal who predominantly works in Tamil films and also has his own production house Vishal Film Factory is in awe of thespian Dr Rajkumar’s family that runs Shaktidhama a centre for destitute children and underprivileged women.
Upon the death of Sandalwood actor and power star Puneeth Rajkumar on October last, Vishal had made an announcement to do his mite to take care of the inmates of Shakthidhama mostly kids and their education, like Puneeth did in his lifetime.
Accordingly Vishal visited the Shakthidhama and interacted with the office-bearers.
Currently Hatrick Hero Shivarajkumar’s wife Geetha Shivarajkumar is the chairperson of the trust. While Shivarajkumar frequently visits and spends some time with the children at Shakthidhama, whenever he is in the city, after taking a break from the shooting schedule.
Vishal told media “It was like visiting a temple here, as i found God in every child. I always apsire to be a volunteer at Shakthidhama. Dr Rajkumar’s family particularly Puneeth Rajkumar and now Geetha Shivarajkumar and Shivarajkumar are rendering valuable works. I am in regular touch with their family and hope they allow me to be a part of the good deeds here”, Vishal added.
Vishal also danced with the children and also sung songs in chorus with them.
