Instagram love! Lashkar police bust lovers plot to orphan the kid

Mysuru: A youth who tried to hoodwink police posing as a good samaritan by rescuing a baby has been busted by the police.
Lashkar police have booked a case against a youth and his paramour on the charges of making a bid to orphan a kid.
The accused youth is identified as Raghu of H D Kote and his paramour is from Raichur.
Recently Raghu had taken a kid to the police station saying that a woman handed over the baby to him at the bus stand in Raichur. As the woman didn’t return after promising to return awhile later, Raghu had claimed to have travelled along with the baby all the way from Raichur to Mysuru.
Upon his arrival he had handed over the toddler to police. Police later accommodated the baby at Bapuji Children’s Home a child care centre.
When investigated into the claims of Raghu, police were in for a shock.
The woman who had handed over the kid was none but Raghu’s lover. The woman though married to one Yesuraj, was courting Raghu whom she met on Instagram one-and-a-half years ago. The kid was born out of wedlock and the woman was even ready to desert her husband and baby so that she can lead a life with Raghu. All these came to light when police contacted Yesuraj.
The police have handed over the woman to Santhwana Kendra.
A case has been registered against Raghu and the woman at Lashkar police station.
