Summer woes, officials meet at DC office
1 min readMysuru: Following the recent directions of Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy to the officials to take stock of the situation in the wake of complaints of drinking water scarcity in the State, IAS officer and Mysuru district in-charge secretary Kalpana convened a meeting of district level officials on Monday.
The officer who collected adequate information over existing scenario directed the officials to be prepared to tackle the situation.
Though both Periyapatna and K R Nagar taluks in the district are declared as drought hit, the matter of relief is there is no scarcity of drinking water. Barring a few pockets in the city corporation limits, the situation is normal in majority of the parts of the city.
In the whole of district, there is no alarming situaion as such and the officials have been directed to pull up their socks to take measures to address the grievances in the future, the officer said.
