Domestic dispute! Man hits wife to death in Ilkal town, kids forced to sit near mother’s body

Bagalkot: Following a domestic dispute, a man allegedly murdered his wife by hitting her with an iron rod in Ilkal town in the district.
Madeena Bandi (27) wife of Mehboob Bandi, Kavishetty Oni is the deceased woman.
Mehboob Bandi who came home drunk on Sunday night hacked his wife to death. He threatened his two kids from telling anybody. Feared kids were forced to sit near the blood stained body of their mother, till their father went to sleep. Later, they went out and told the neighbours about the incident.
However, Mehboob had escaped from the spot before the police came.
Ilkal town police are investigating the case.
