Mysuru: That Karnataka Police are known for their efficiency is proven again. In a swift operation, the police have arrested five accused including a juvenile in the gang rape of a girl student in the city. The police deserve a pat.
State Government has announced Rs five lakh reward to the police team that cracked the case. Another accused absconding in the case will be arrested soon as the pace of investigation is intensified. The clear picture is expected to emerge only after the investigation is completed. The victim will surely get justice.
Prior to this, police arrested those dacoits involved in shoot out case at a jewellery shop three days ago. With this, the police have shown it to the whole country that there is no scope for goondagiri in this State.
Police play a key role in handling law and order in the State. Karnataka police have earned a good name in the country with able and honest officers in the force.
The police have been directed to increase security at sensitive localities in Mysuru, Somashekar added.
