Implementation of Covid-19 guidelines! Police Commissioner Dr Chandragupta inspects areas in Mandi limits

Mysuru: In the wake of partial relaxation in lockdown on Monday and Thursday, Police Commissioner Dr Chandragupta visited the localities in Mandi police limits in the city on Tuesday.
The police commissioner oversaw the implementation of Covid-19 guidelines.
The commissioner has stated that, barring shops selling essential commodities, fruits and vegetables which are allowed to open from 6 am to 12 noon on the said days, no other shops are allowed to open doors during the period. Any violations will be dealt under Disaster Management Act. Action will also be taken to suspend their trade licence.
The people should buy essentials from the shops nearby their houses and avoid travelling farther distance. They should step out of the house only to buy essentials.
The city police are deputed in various parts of the city for inspecting vehicles and if anybody is found moving out without valid reasons, such vehicles will be seized and a case will be booked.
The people should cooperate with the city police by abiding by Covid-19 guidelines, police commissioner appealed.
