IMA scam: Ashok demands CBI probe

Mysuru: Former deputy chief minister and BJP leader R Ashok on Sunday demanded for central bureau of investigation ( CBI) probe into the I Monetary Advisory ( IMA) Scam.
Ashoka also a former home minister observed that ‘ It’s the only single case where over 30,000 complaints have been received. Still, the State Government has ignored the demand for CBI probe and has handed it over to special investigation team ( SIT).
SIT probe will not help in meting out justice to the innocent victims, who had invested in it. The SIT has been made only to dance according to the tunes of the government to safeguard the interests of those under the radar.
For example, the murky developments behind Sarada Chit Fund scam in West Bengal is coming to be known, with the police commissioner himself in the dock, pointed Ashok expressing his doubts over the SIT’s ability to handle the probe in impartial manner.
