67-year-old retired principal found brutally murdered at home

Mysuru: A 67-year-old retired principal was found brutally murdered at his house in Niveditanagar on Monday.
Parashivamurty the victim was found dead with multiple stab injuries on his body.
According to preliminary investigation, Parashivamurty was all alone when two persons knocked on his door on Sunday night.
They stabbed him with a knife on his chest, abdomen and neck before fleeing from the spot.
Parashivamurty who had a marital discord was staying alone, while his wife and eight year old step son were staying separate elsewhere.
After retirement, Parashivamurty was into real estate and money lending. The motive behind the murder seems to be either family issues or real estate links, but there is no clarity yet.
DCPs Dr A N Prakash Gowda (Law and order) and Geetha Prasanna ( crime and traffic) and ACP Mariyappa ( CCB) visited the spot.
