58 km of Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway to be open for traffic in June: Prathap Simha

Mysuru: Here is a piece of good news for those who were eager to drive on 10 lane Bengaluru- Mysuru Expressway.
According to MP Prathap Simha who inspected the works recently, in the first phase, it is being mulled over to open 58 km of the stretch of road for public movement from Bengaluru to Nidaghatta section in June.

Simha accompanied by Dilip Buildcon Limited (DBL) Project Manager Govind inspected the works.
It may be mentioned that the works are expedited to open the 10-lane expressway by October.
In a recent tweet, Union Minister for Road Transport said Highways Nitin Gadkari had stated that “The Bengaluru – Nidaghatta – Mysuru section of NH-275 is a 10-Lane, 117 km long stretch in the State of Karnataka. It is being developed at a cost of Rs 8,350 Crore. The construction work is nearing completion and will be completed by October 2022”.
