Mysuru: The 47th All India Inter-Railway Women’s Basketball Championship 2024-25 organised by the South Central Railway Sports Association from November 15 to 19 was held at Secunderabad.
Teams from across Indian Railways participated in the tournament, showcasing exceptional talent and sportsmanship.
South Western Railway Women’s Basketball team, led by captain Anusha I P and Coach Zarin P S, made a remarkable impact by securing the Runner-Up position in this prestigious tournament. Their performance throughout the championship reflected outstanding skill, teamwork and determination.
The championship concluded with South Central Railway winning First Place, South Western Railway securing Second Place and Central Railway taking Third Place.
Arvind Srivastava, General Manager of South Western Railway, congratulated the SWR team on their outstanding achievement.
