Dasara Yuva Sambhrama to portray ill effects of social media

Mysuru: Dasara mood has started to set in. Yuva Sambhrama the curtain raiser for the Nada Habba will start from September 17 and will be held up to September 25 at Open Air Theatre in Manasagangotri, from 5.30 pm to 10.30 pm.
Actor ‘Golden Star’ Ganesh wll inaugurate the show.
A total of 278 colleges from across the State have evinced interest to take part in the events.
The focus is on theme based events like- Ill effects of social media and cell phones, importance of following traffic rules, conservation of tiger, heritage and environment, national integrity, heritage, Kannada and culture. Apart from cultural performances, skit and mime shows are the new additions.
District minister V Somanna and Tourism minister C T Ravi released the posters of the event.
SP C B Ryshyanth special officer of Yuva Dasara and Yuva Sambhrama sub- committee, secretary J S Somashekar, executive preident D B Lingannaiah, Additional deputy Commissioner B R Poornima, police Commissioner K T Balakrishna and MCC Commissioner Gurudatta Hegde were present.
