32-year-old woman cop of Nazarbad Station ends life

Mysuru: A 32-year-old woman police constable allegedly committed suicide at Karnataka State Reserve Police Quarters (KSRP) in the city on Monday.
Geetha attached to Nazarbad Police Station in the city is the deceased. She committed suicide by hanging.
Geetha had reported to work in the morning. At 12 noon, citing ill health, she went home. Before taking the extreme step, Gertha sent her husband out to withdraw money from ATM. The husband who went to the ATM, called his wife on cellphone to ask for the OTP. However, she didn’t respond. The husband rushed back home to find Geetha who had allegedly ended her life.
The reason behind her extreme step is not known.
Nazarbad Police have registered a case.
