250 Oxygen cylinders supplied from Mysuru to Chamarajanagar: Authorities claim

Mysuru/ Chamarajanagar: Following the death of about 22 patients including Covid and non- Covid patients admitted at Chamarajanagar district hospital due to the alleged delay in oxygen supply from Mysuru, Mysuru district administration has claimed that “250 Oxygen cylinders had been supplied from Mysuru to Chamarajanagar till 00.30 hours.”
The district authorities have further clarified that Chamarajanagar was supposed to receive Oxygen supply from Ballari. We are not aware, whether they received the supplies in time from Ballari. But we sent the Oxygen as per the demand from Chamarajanagar on on humanitarian grounds.”
There is no delay on the part of Mysuru district authorities and it’s on record to prove that 250 cylinders were dispatched till midnight hours. It includes 210 cylinders from Southern Gas and 40 from the district hospital.
