24-yr-old national volleyball player dies of heart attack

Belthangady: A 24-year-old national-level Volleyball player and an alumnus of SDM College, Ujire, Saliyat, has died of heart attack on Wednesday. She was married a year ago and was living with her husband in Chikkamagaluru.
Saliyat had complained of chest pain and she was taken to Mangaluru. But she died of a heart attack, said medical reports.
A talented Volleyball player, Saliyat was responsible for Karnataka securing second position in the national-level Volleyball tourney at Allahabad. She has won a silver medal in national tournament and gold medal in senior national (South).
