20-bed centre to treat Covid infected cops at Horse Park

Mysuru: City police have opened a facility to accommodate police personnel infected by Covid-19, besides those with mild symptoms and asymptomatic cases.
Police Commissioner Dr Chandragupta inaugurated 20-bed Hayagriva Suraksha Kendra at Horse Park, Nazarbad in the city.
Among the beds, 13 are general beds and seven oxygenated beds. The medical officers in the police Commissionerate will treat the patients. In case of higher treatment, doctors of JSS Hospital will chip in.
Free food and cleanliness of the centre will also be taken care of with the coordination of JSS Hospital.
The facility is open for those police personnel down by pandemic, who lack separate facilities at home.
JSS Hospital Director Dr (Col) M Dayananda and DCPs, ACPs were present.
