15,000 Muslim brethren offer prayers at Eidgah Ground,Tilaknagar

Mysuru: Two years after the Covid-19 pandemic that dampened the festive spirit, Muslim brethren came out in large numbers to offer prayers on account of Eid-Ul- Fitr at Eidgah Ground, Tilak Nagar in the city on Tuesday.
According to an estimate about 15,000 Muslim brethren took part in the religious congregation without any hassles.

Eidgah Committee thanked all those who prayed, besides police and Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) authorities who were involved in making arrangements from the last one week for the purpose of cleaning the ground.
Sarkhazi of Mysore Hazrath Moulana Mohammad Usman Shariff gave a message about the importance of Ramzan especially in this holy month by helping poor families.
Especially the prayers were offered for the citizens of India, safety, peace and harmony.
Former MLA M K Somashekar greeted Sarkhazi of Mysore.
Deputy Mayor Aftab Baigh, Eidgah committee members- former Corporators Suhail Baig and K C Showkath Pasha, Jameel Ashrafi and Mohammad Mumtaz Ahmed were present.
