14-year-old girl dies at hospital; kin blames medical negligence

Mysuru: A 14-year-old girl admitted to hospital for treatment to acute stomach ache, to a hospital in the city, died on Sunday.
Lakshmi, a resident of Janatha Nagar in the city is the deceased. She was studying in class nine at Rotary West School, Saraswathipuram in the city.
She had been admitted to the private hospital in Janatha Nagar and was diagnosed of tumour in the abdomen. The doctor had conducted surgery. However, she didn’t respond to the treatment.
The parents blamed the doctors for medical negligence causing her death.
The Police visited the hospital.
