132 Kashmir youths to attend NSS integration camp at JSS Pharmacy College

Mysuru: JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research’s NSS Cell, Youth Empowerment and Sports Department under the aegis of National Service Scheme is jointly organizing National Integration Camp from March 5 to 11 at JSS College of Pharmacy premises.
NSS programme co-ordinator KL Krishna told mediapersons that more than 150 NSS volunteers and NSS programme officers from Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala and Pondicherry are participating and representing 25 universities, he said.
Padmashree Saalumarada Thimmakka will inaugurate the programme while Mayor Tasneem will be the chief guest.
Around 132 Jammu and Kashmir youths selected from five district are participating in Nehru Yuva Kendra programme. However, they will be participating only for a day. Southern range IGP Vipul Kumar will deliver a special talk on the day.
During the week-long National Integration Camp, various activities like ‘Shramadana’, awareness about cancer, black magic, influence of social media on youth, mind management and Jal Shakti Abhiyan will be held, said Dr Krishna.
