100 not out! Congress workers stage protest against fuel price hike in Mysuru

Mysuru: Congress workers staged a protest against hike in fuel prices in the city on Friday.
The highlight was ‘100 not out’ placards, denoting the hike in per litre of petrol.
The protest was organised under the banner of Mysuru District Rural Congress Commitee on the directions of KPCC.
The hour long symbolic protest was staged near Ganesh Fuel Services near Dasappa Circle, where the party workers along with drummers staged protest to highlight the grievancesof common man.
Various units of the party staged similar protest in front of 25 petrol bunks in various parts of the city.
It is a part of State-wide protests planned in 5000 places in various parts of the state for five days to highlight the cause in the interest of common man. The protest will be intensified at Gram Panchayat, Taluk Panchayat and Zilla Panchayat levels across the State from Saturday.
KPCC Working President R Dhruvanarayan, MLAs H P Manjunath and Anil Chikkanadu, MLC R Dharmasena, former MLAs Vasu and Kalale Keshavmurthy, Rural committee President Dr B J Vijaykumar, leaders Sunil Bose, ZP former President K Marigowda, KPCCoffice-bearers Bhaskar, Lokesh Rao, Srinath Babu, Shivanagappa and Veena, KPCC spokesperson Lakshman, Youth Congress district president Donald and other leaders took part.
