10 shops gutted in fire in Devaraja Market

Mysuru: Over a century old Devaraja Market is in news again, with about 10 shops gutted in a fire mishap on August 12.
The fire erupted from a shop close to a gate on Sayyaji Rao road side, from where the blaze spread to other shops. Most of them belongs to flower vendors and the cause of fire is not known yet.
The smoke emanating from the fire had affected the smooth flow of traffic. The fire tenders are rushed to the spot.
